To be fair nsc chat often goes back to goldstone north and the fantastic atmosphere it created but it was made up mostly of teenagers,fat balding 40/50 year olds would have look very odd hanging around the youngsters wearing football shirts and jumping around. If you could fill the forthcoming n/w corner with teenagers they would create more atmosphere that the older gerneration who spend too much time buying pies/beers and queuing for a slash.

That is very true. The hardcore singing area in the old north was a few hundred kids aged from 14 to early 20s in the main.
The true rights of passage in the early 70s was if you could knock a coppers helmet off when they came charging in on a 'Knees up Mother Brown' rendition.
