Must admit, I've not followed it this time. Let me know if he gets to the final, then he can be honorary English again for a couple of hours until he loses.

Yes well done Murray.

Just these English people ahead of you in British tennis accomplishments now:
John Lloyd (Aussie Open Finalist)
Greg Rusedski (US Open Finalist)
Tim Henman (*multiple* grand slam semi-finalist)

Hopefully he might get to the final, but I'm not holding my breath.

Really? Fair enough. But for me, he doesn't really stand out among the other recentish half decent British tennis's better players.

He should pack up tennis and give football a go. He'd probably walk into your shit national team.

QED - he's been in the Top 5 for two years and not won one of the major titles. Flaw in his psychology. I predict he will never win a grand slam tournament.

He's 23. He's got plenty of time. I predict he'll win multiple grand slam tournaments.

You're on a windup right?
Murray is SO much better than Rusedski and Henman.

I've got a bet with a mate for which I've predicted the same. Every grand slam I sit through hoping he gets knocked out. £100 to the winner.

The £100 won't be worth all the suffering I'm going to go through until his retirement.

We both know Murray is already a FAR better player than Henman.

Plus you're not going to win. Murray is very young and already miles better than Henman or Rusedski. He's got YEARS. Once Federer has retired it's between him and Nadal for EVERY trophy going, and he can beat Nadal. It's not IF, but WHEN.

OMG!

Not forgetting the famous racket-wielding racist Buster Mottram.
