Am I right in thinking Leon's halfway through a 2-year contract?

If so, is there any chance of him signing an extension? Are negotiations underway? Or do we have to resign ourselves to him buggering off a free at the end of this season?

(I should probably already know the answer to this but I'm not terribly alert.)

Lets face it he needs to pull his socks up. I think his has an ego and attitude bigger than a lot of fans realise. You cant take away what he did last season but this year he will have to work for the team a lot more. Its sink or swim time for him, remember the Albion fans are very fickle sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope he signs his contract extension... could be a very big player for us in The Championship... may even suit him better than League One...

I met the Chelsea U 14 acadamey coach on the way back from the Croatia game and we got talking about young players etc.

When Leons name cropped up in conversation, the man said that he was one of the most skilful players ever to come thru the academy but the trouble was his attitude stank, thats why they let him go!
