SWANSEA striker Leon Knight has hit out at Kenny Jackett and insisted there is
no chance he will be joining PETERBOROUGH or NORTHAMPTON.
Knight, 24, is on the transfer list at the Liberty Stadium and Swans boss
Jackett revealed that Posh and Northampton were leading the hunt for the
striker.
Peterborough director of football Barry Fry confirmed the club's bid for the
player had been accepted, but Knight said: ``With all respect, there is no
chance I'll be going to either of those clubs and I'm not going to be rushed out
of the door by Kenny Jackett.
``Barry Fry was quality about it and wished me all the best in getting the
right move.
``I told Jackett when I first went on the transfer list that my agent and I
would sort out finding a new club for me.''
Knight could go on loan first before a permanent move once the January
transfer window opens.
He added: ``I'm prepared to wait until January because I'm not in any rush.
``But I've scored 20 goals in 25 starts so I think I can get a move to a club
at least as big as Swansea, if not bigger.''
