Anyone planning to go by train to Leicester, Midland Mainline have at long last started selling cheap tickets, they have only just made them available due to the fact that Engineering Works had not been confirmed.

Anyway I have just booked 8 tickets at the bargin, as ever, of £12 each return from London.

I will be coming back on the train after a long weekend in Nottingham.

Would offer to play in the game but its my girlfriends birthday so would be in the dog house.

Best place is www.midlandmainline.com. However the site is a bit iffy at the moment, as they do not seem to update it that often. Maybe better calling their ticket line on 0845 7 125 678. One tip with this is to go to the group travel option, even if there are not 8 of you, as this call centre is in Newcastle, where as the one for groups of less than 8 is in India and they are useless.

Storer I know that it is a midday kick off, the train we are getting arrives at 1030, there is a Wetherspoons about 5 minutes from the station, which opens at 10am, so will get in there for about 90 minutes speed drinking.
