I'm surprised at the poll results, or maybe not as I was close to clicking on Leeds, but Reading have had he more impressive transfer window, bringing several players in, and have become a very well-drilled unit under Stam. I don't think they're capable of top two but I do think they'll finish above Leeds who are the more over-achieving of the two sides imo.

I wonder, at this time last year,who Boro and Burnley were more worried about, us, Wednesday, Derby, or Hull? I doubt if It would have been us, it just shows how much things can change over the last 3 months

In answer to the question, neither. However, rephrase the question to ask 'who is the greatest threat to Newcastle, then I would probably say Leeds.

looking at the remaining fixtures I think both Reading & Leeds have realistic chances of catching Newcastle

Newcastle have 3 away games in a row, Brighton,Huddersfield then Reading
