Thomson is a better player than Hammond mainly because Thomson is the more experienced and finished article. Liverrmore in there will add steel.

I also think Fraser will become a revelation this season/

I don't think it's that unreasonable to expect Colchester to do OK.

They have a new ground, and the momentum that will give them after years at the shit pit of Layer Road, and they have made decent signings. We wouldn't have minded Steven Gillespie at any rate.

Not quite so convinced about Leeds, granted they have more money to fix things if they go wrong, but they haven't signed anyone to inspire, while the likes of Beckford will be out of there like lightning if they aren't in right up there come January. I think McAllister will prove to be a decent boss, but I also reckon the points penalty last season gave them a cause to fight last season that they won't have this time around, and that if they lose a couple of games early on, the doubts will set in quickly.
