Tiptop24 said:Let put it in Business Terms......you are miffed at your current job because you have made a few mistakes and its cost the company some money so they have asked you to take a break and let your assistant do your job, which he has already done in the past. This isnt the first time you have been asked to take a break and the last time it happened you had a serious career talk to the chairman about you position with the company. After stating that you wanted to be allowed to help out another division the chairman asked you not to and that you will be back at your desk next week.
Co workers are mad because you threw a hissy fit and threatend to leak important work informaton and you assistant is even more mad because he did everything that was asked of him when he replaced you.
A couple of weeks later you make 2 very big mistakes, and it is highly noticeable that your coworkers lack faith in you leadership and ability to perform under pressure and would much prefer you assistant to take over in a permenant basis.
However, you believe you are considerably better than the company your working for and could easily be the head boss at another company despite your recent performance.
Luckily enough another company which is performing above expectations finds out one of its employees wishes to move back to london and is looking for a replacement. You have credentials because of your knowledge and one good project internationally and they offer you an improved contract with extra bonuses and a bigger office.
You get all excited and agree to it, but when you arrive you see that the former boss is still there, hanging around. It turns out that he hasnt been offered the other job and infact will be keeping his position and office, and also his assistant. Unfortuantly you have been bent over the table.....the luck of the irish
