Las Vegas hotels... any recommendations?

Now bettered by his newer hotel, Encore!

We stayed at the Platinum Hotel just off the Strip behind Bally's. It's in Trip Advisors top 3 or 4 in Vegas and is a liitle oasis of peace and quiet away from the madness of the Strip (but only 5/10 mins walk away)!

Went to the Wynn in August this year - Amazing! Pure luxury!
