I am looking to purchase a laptop, in the region of £500-600,

1 gig of ram and 80gb+ hard drive, obviously faster the processor the better but something 1.8ghz or higher is great!

any thoughts?

I got one from laptopsdirect.co.uk a few months ago, couldn't believe the price for a Toshiba, about 25 per cent less than PC world. Arrived in less than a week too.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I fella with tiny orange hairs caking his chin like the duned rot of a deserted jaffa cake came to me yesterday and said i could buy a laptop for 200 notes. I said i was alright, but he wouldn't take no for an answer and whispered louder for moments. I got afraid and almost fired an alarm in my man's purse, but finally he believed that i already had a laptop and wouldn't need another. I was lying. I do need one. Just not one bought off a ginger with acne in his mouth.

does anybody remember a tv show "don't get done, get dom"

he had tips to get £10's off the price of everyday stuff like laptops, tv's and dishwashers!

£100's in some cases!

where in Brighton can you really haggle with them, as i doubt PC World or any other big brand would even consider budging, would need to be a private specialist i reckon!

Sorry, my apologies. This is a tricky area but I have done a fair bit with this. Best not buy on somebody's opinion, God is on the side of the big dealers.
