Says picture was taken 7 years ago - but even so........perhaps he spent the (alleged) cash on 'having some work done'On a complete separate note, has Derek Hatton been drinking from the fountain of youth? That man is not in a million years 77, he looks a million dollars.
That bloke isn't a day over 50 in that picture.Says picture was taken 7 years ago - but even so........perhaps he spent the (alleged) cash on 'having some work done'
Sorry this rubbish, if you had read Private Eye you will know about Hatton's criminality, far too late to have nicked him IMOPractices not uncommon up and down the land, I imagine - people in positions of power take advantage of their power to benefit themselves and friends, often with funny hand-shakes. Still, well done Merseyside police for rooting out some malpractice and presenting a case - but surely with gun crime, knife crime and seriously violent drug wars rife, they've got better things to spend their time on.

I share your father's dislike of this brainless gobsh1te who did so much to keep Thatcher in power. Him and the other deluded insurrectionist Scargill. Not really, I was what, 9 - 13 yrs old when they had hold of Liverpool council. I remember Hatton, mainly because I'd never seen my Dad hate someone so much.

I had to work with some of those - lovely people. I always found them intelligent, kind, generous, considerate, polite, and always helpful.https://news.sky.com/story/former-l...-charged-with-bribery-and-misconduct-13323204
