Remember them as well, is my main memory of the King Alfred, see they are still there, when walking past recently, but assume they have not been open to the public for some time.

good...that means she is spending all her waking hours drafting a YES reply to us and checking every dot and tee

I don't actually think she will do ANYTHING until the local elections are out of the way. The politicians here in westminster are all of a tiss due to them, a forthcoming resignation and an uncertian future post Blair.

And as been said before, once Brown takes office, who knows what will happen.

Probably be a reshuffle (almost certain IMHO) - could be a reorganisation of departments

The King Alfred is well past its sell by date
but has got to be replaced with something a lot better than the proposed building,which if built would make the town a laughing stock.
