Well I'd rather have seen several members of that party doing Comic Relief toilet and street cleaning then BT could have put their sponsorship money straight into the fund.

That is not really the point, is it?

Firstly, I am sure that many 'celebrities' have done grotty jobs in the past to make ends meet. Secondly, it is all about doing something challenging and inspiring people. Thirdly, as I am sure you know, people would probably not want to watch a toilet being cleaned.
