I've heard Falmer has a nice football friendly pub.

Tell him not to take them to the pub. It ruins it for all the people who should be there. If he wants to ruin his life with the horrible things he should live with it, not inflict it on others who want to enjoy a pint without tripping over brats running in circles in the middle of the pub.
That or take them to a pub that will serve them too. The George in the Old Village should do.
