Phillips was mentioned on here a long time ago. Our local expert has finally arrived at the party and confirmed that. Will someone tell Naylor we have secured the League One title?

I think Phillips would have ended up like Nicky Forster, no doubt he has management ambitions, and I couldn't blame him for that. Having someone like that in the dressing-room though would always be seen as possibly proving unstable to management if things go wrong.

Gus has this reputation, but i know that we also had discussions with Johnathan Woodgate, so i think he is quite happy to look at older players as long as he believes they have the right mental attitude.
