I saw Kerry Mayo at Heathrow airport once.

I'm always amazed how different players look close up. He was in a fairly tight white t-shirt, and he looked f##king hard. Extremely strong build and you could imagine a skinny tricky winger just not fancying it after a couple of challenges.

Obviously an Assistant Manager's salary isn't that bad...

He is quite muscular. I had one arm around him whilst having my photo taken with him in April.

Miles shorter close up. I thought he was a massive 6 foot 4 defender - turned out he was about 5'11 - but ever so nice chap.
