Anyone see the Argus article with Tony Rougier about Henderson today? In it he says that we offered him (TR) a deal two weeks ago but as a married man with kids he was unable to accept it. Assuming SC has the same budget now as he had then we cant be offering him much at all. Lets hope that the rumours about Andrei not being interested in the money are true, if not then this deal is dead and buried.

Rougier is probably not, and has to make up for it in other departments.

Kanchelskis does have the option of a return to his former club Al Halal of Saudi Arabia, but that seems unlikely. "Saudi Arabia is a nice country, but it's a difficult country to live in alone because it's very religious and very closed. I'm still contracted for one more season and I've got to make a decision with my family in the next week."
