We're currently top of League One
And have been for 18 games
Including 12 games UNBEATEN at home
With a place in the FA Cup Fifth Round
With a BRAND NEW 22,000 seater stadium nearing completion
And plans for a new state-of-the-art training facility
Which will also house our incredible youth academy.

Things have come pretty good, haven't they?

All we need now is to find out both Archer and Bellotti had serious horseriding accidents and are now paralysed head down for the rest of their lives whislt being fed through a straw.
The way things are going, anything could happen!

I've been following the club since my Dad took me to my first match in the early 80s. I'd say this is the most exciting time it's ever been to follow the club because on top of the current success there actually seems to be a plan.

If this was 4-5 years ago and someone said: "Lads in 4 years time this is what will happen:
1) We'll have our stadium
2) We'll have a significant financial backing
3) Our chairman will be a professional-poker-playing-millionaire
4) Our Manager and Assistant Manager will be ex-premier league favourites
5) Will have players with FLAIR"

Everyone will think he's come out fo the looney farm.

So surreal, you can't believe it. It still feels like one huge dream in which I'm going to wake up and cry miserably when I approach the turnstiles at the AMEX!!!

Too make a perfect senairo, I think we should invite them both to the first game at falmer. Let them spend a couple of hours thinking "this could have been ours"...
Then
send all the women and children home.
Spilt the remaining crowd into four teams and place a "Its a Knockout" type plastic tube in each corner, one for each team.

Then place said pair of wankers in center circle, and which ever team can fill their tubes with Archer/Bellotti ripped up body parts first, wins.

Bonus points if you can get both heads in your tube........

I think I need too speak to a doctor.......

Followed the lads since 1971, and seen both good and bad times. Even in the mid to late 70's in the old Div 3 watching as part of 30k+ crowds was an amazing experience. The Mullery era, etc, etc. But even for this old git, this is by far the most exciting period of the clubs history I have ever known.

Can't we get them memorial stones in the toilets, something we can piss on whenever the need for the no.1 arises?
