Was the most talented player we had at the club since Zamora who had a bit of arrogance about him that the manager at the time couldn't handle.

and is now a division 4 sub whichever way you want to dress it up.

Which makes it all the more tragic that McGhee could not get the best out of him.

He was the most naturally talented player we had since Zamora, possibly with more skill than Bobby albeit lacking his strength.

Under Coppell he was on fire because Coppell knew how to get the best out of him.

McGhee's only man management technique is to take his players down the casino.

and scored LOTS more goals...

And yet has managed to upset just about all the teams he's played for. I guess that when he starts with Canvey Island he'll upset them too.

Yes, the manager elect of Chamionpship side Leicester City can't either.

Do you know what makes all the above laughable ? The fact that promotion via the playoffs in a McGhee team is almost certainly going to be the highpoint of Leon Knight's career :lolol:

Leon Knight

- Caused problems at every club he's been to.
- Never scores above League 1 level.
- Now on the subs bench at a league 2 club.

I think what you have done there is confuse "bit of arrogance" with "chippy self obsessed ****".

Had Coppell still been in charge we would not have needed the play-offs...

If we had kept Iwelumo and Knight together and happy we would have stayed up the following season.

Speculation, Iwelumo wanted more than we were prepared (or could afford) to pay and of course the fact that Knight was effectively thrown out of Swansea in a lot less time that he had here is a coincidence ?

IF LK was as good as you think he wouldn't be a League 2 sub so you can conjecture as much as you like the reality is he's damaged goods and USELESS as a team player.

Didn't Iwelumo go to Germany (Aachen?) to play in the UEFA Cup?
