Luckily that was one of the few games I have been able to stay to the end rather than leave early in order to get my 4 year old son home without a 45 minute wait at the station.

These repeated "JLE" threads are amongst the most assinine on NSC at the moment and that is obviously saying something.

It wasn't leaving early that was the problem on that day - it was getting there on time in the first place. (M25 nightmare seven hour jam)

I didn't leave until after 7pm that day as being in the Amex, and being able to buy a drink afterwards with mates was more than I'd dreamt of 10 years ago when we were still fighting for it. I wanted to savour every moment of it especially after a late winner.
