It is great for them to reach the premiership, but I do worry about them getting absolutely battered week in week out which is only going to have a negative effect on them. See Derby County for example.

No doubt the premiership cheifs hate blackpool being there:lol:

Its brilliant they have made it and i can see them staying up as they are secure financially unlike many in the prem.:clap:

I see it as a tribute to a team who have lived within it's means unlike their opponents.

If I was their chairman, I'd spend very little on new players, improve the existing players contracts but insert the obvious relegation wage reduction, and use the prem money and parachute payments to keep Blackpool as a viable business (and improve infrastructure).

The prem should be the golden goose for little clubs, but usually (through poor financial management) bankrupts the club (just ask Watford, Palace, Portsmouth, Bradford, Forest, Leeds etc...).

The West Brom model is a good one to follow.
