Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Coalition forces bombing Gadaffi's air force.
At our stadium site, it's looking more and more like a bomb hasn't hit it!
Dare I say, we've started the finishing touches?
All the blue hoarding has been removed from Falmer station area, and the new route to the stadium and Uni buildings is open, but not yet the new bridge.
Planting continues with more native species. Ash, Hawthorn, and I think Field Maples, as well as the already identified Holly and Yew.
Trees being watered too.
How about yet another 1-0 against Swindon tomorrow?
Don't forget it's 1.00pm kick-off!
4 lots of 5 coming up.

I know im biased but wherever you drive from it is one of the most asthetically pleasing stadiums ive ever seen. Its an absolute credit to the architects and designers

Ev, love the swoopy seagull shot, and the record breaking 18 on an arch with no photo-shopping.

Agreed. Can't help thinking that the trees are going to ruin it, when they're mature the stadium won't stand out as much as it does now. We probably had to agree to plant them as part of the planning regulations, but hopefully they'll all get diseased and we can chop them down again.

Were you just trying to get pictures of girls with that last batch Jack?

I try and do my best for the typical NSC viewer!
I think I recognised some of them from Ev's avatar?

And where does the door in that odd concrete box lead to? Is its the "special away facilities" for the Palace fans?

Also, I can't help thinking that some drunken fans are going to find that steep bank very tempting...

That is the door to HELL!!!!

We went for a walk whilst at t'club last weekend and the path next to the railway line by Falmer school( along to Moulescombe) has been widened to take a fair number of fans....are the club expecting people to park in 'scoombe and walk? Also, I note by the new bridge, there is a large turning area by the railway bridge...is this going to be the coach and car drop off? then walk through the small bridge , turn left and bingo.

BTW Falmer school looks very different now...are they pulling down westlaine?

That's the lift.

Not taking anything away from the wonderfulness of the JSAECSW, but I just don't get the same feeling of wetness now.
I was getting more of a boner when new sections of steelwork went up.
Yes, it's nice seeing it come closer to completion, but I just seem to only get a slight shiver now.

Maybe the seats going in will perk up the old chap.
