My take on the Edwards thing was that he took his lack of respect as a winning attitude. They were talking about how his disappointment with the silver was very un-british and I thought he was trying to enforce that view with his comments.

Could be wrong though, but I always liked the guy so hope not.

That's not a problem, he can come to Ireland and become a catholic priest or something. There are plenty of people in high places who will cover for him over here, and failing that the tax payer can bail out the church by paying the majority or compensation claims.
