Apology accepted.

Now as we are on the subject of cancer a warning I know most of us have our hands down our pants at some time in the day but please check your self regularly or if peeing feels different, go and see your Doctor, if your Doctor puts the problems down to age as mine did ask to see a specialist. It was around eighteen months of going to the Doctor before I saw a specialist, it was nearly too late, he found a mass bulk of tumors in my bladder luckily after a lot of time in Hospital and treatment it looks like I will be ok but it will probably be back in the future, that is the nature of the best.

I am not normally a preacher and I do not need any ones sympathy but if this post helps just one person then I have done some good

Best wishes to you all

Well said that man.
I always belonged to that group of men that had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the doctor. Too stoical for my own good. ..." its nothing...it'll pass...I'm too busy...waiting rooms are full of time wasters etc "
Not any more. Months of chemotherapy have cured that. Going through every day feeling sick and nauseous, feeling cold, losing sensitivity in hands and feet, permanent dry mouth, peeling skin, no control over bowel movements, no energy, susceptible to the slightest infection....and all because I saw some blood down below and decided to go to the doctor. It could have been piles or polyps or simply straining too hard. It wasn't. It was bowel cancer. I could easily have put off going to the doctor but something was nagging me that I should get it checked out.
The earlier the diagnosis, the better the chances. Don't ignore urinary problems, lumps in the testicles or groin or loss of blood from the back passage. They could be nothing but do you really want to take that chance?
