True loyalty would have had him sign a 10-year contract on about £300pw. That's what i would i have done if i were f***ing brilliant. Of course i would have ended up an alcoholic, sourfacedly on quizshows before i disappeared into a middle-aged nothingness, but that's just me and the dream i once had.
