I'm a bit confused about the south stand. Does the area that has just been paved for the seats show the size of the entire south stand? Or will it expand further towards the west stand when the arch has been put up?

The south stand will expand further. I expect they couldn't go any further at the moment because of all the scaffoldwork around the SW dogs bollocks head thing.

I love the fact that Falmer Station is right outside the stadium. That walk from Hove Station to the Goldstone was the start of the footballing day for me, where the excitement really started if you like. There is something about turning up to a match on a train. I'm sure Falmer station will evoke some of those happy memories.
