That's the helipads for when the main part of the international airport is built. The hotel is further to the right.

I got the impression from John on the gate that the crane would be in action for 6 weeks, so this probably means the time it takes to put the arch in place, perhaps hoisting little by little, like they did with the Wembley arch?
Hopefully, Natterjack will put us right if this is wrong?

The crane has been brought in a little earlier to save it from having to travel to Inverness and then all the way back again in a couple of weeks time.

It won't actually be doing much until the 3 sections of roof truss are ready to be lifted in place.

The roof truss steel will start to be assembled early next week
