Absolutely. It's been a while since an NSC Gong has been handed out and if this doesn't merit one, I don't know what does.

Lokki 7's dignified lobbying of Simon Hughes at the Metropole during the Liberal conference a few years back was a great effort given how drunk he was at the time, I think that was the last one. Of course, SH just FANCIED him and wanted to bum him something silly.

That retaining wall looks about 12-15 feet deep.

I think*, including foundations, they're going something like 80-90 feet deep.

Think 22,000 lorry-loads, and you'll get an idea.

Yup, and I thought I'd pop in with my own little update on how the painting is going.

By the end of today they should have completed this entire near side.

They will then paint white stripes into that and insist everyone drive along there at precisely 26.4mph.

You see how many people succumb to a seizure, start dribbling and have a crash at the Falmer Road junction.

Sometimes I pass a recently-built edifice and think "I'd love to have taken photos of this, every few days, for the duration of the build, it'd be great to have the record." Keep it up Jack Straw, you may have gold on your hands!
