Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
T'is a thing of great beauty.
All corners bar the south east one are being filled in.
Last bit of concrete being laid at the west end of the south stand.
Block work at the back of the west stand increasing daily. The top level looks complete.
A road about half a mile long has been constructed parallel with the rail way lines from Falmer School to the stadium.
A huge convoy of asphalt lorries was slowly reversing to the school end, ready to start surfacing.
The VIP car park has had its first layer of tarmac.
The monsterous fly-over will change the view as you leave Stanmer Park, for ever.
3 lots of 5 coming up. :amex:

Pork pie land.
Those big gaps in the corners really do look like it has been designed with expansion in mind! Hopefully that will be needed sooner rather than later as we move up the leagues!

Great first pic by the way, it really shows the Ground will be a thing of beauty and a massive improvement on those old Uni buildings.

Briillant as per.

That last photo has me confused again now. I thought I'd sussed out what was happening outside Stanmer, but looking at that angle, I'm stratching me head again:shrug:

Fantastic pics Graham. That first one is just......

Every time I see it, I fall in love with it a little bit more.

Definitely my favourite photos to date.

The second one of the first batch is just incredible, especially with the man sitting in the middle of the steel roofing and the grey moody sky.

Thank you so much for these.

Meopham, Kent.
Wow, just wow. That one taken from the rugby pitch just had me sat here mouth open, starring at it for ages.

My God, THAT is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Thats not the pitch level yet. Its a specially prepared surface which can carry the weight of HGV's without turning into a morass in winter.
They've got to dig down a few feet and then some before they get to pitch level.

What better thread than this to make my first post for 6 years!

Thank you JS for your stirling efforts, being an exile (albeit not too far) these threads have got me excited about the new era we are entering with our beloved football team.

Marvellous.

You're looking from the current flyover towards Moulsecoomb over the eastbound A270.

The entrance to Stanmer Park is on the right of the picture. The road in the bottom right of the picture is the link road from A270 to the entrance to Stanmer Park.
