Hate the commentator, hate Townsend, hate Chiles having previously loved him on BBC, hate the adverts, just hate it all. What the f*** was that naff polaroid/autograph shit before the game. And why the f*** did they not plan it so the adverts finished in time to actually start the match on time! Moan over , feel better now.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I only ever like to watch ITV on weekend mornings for what i imagine to be pretty much unwatched episodes of Ironside. I saw a bit of an episode the other day which had Keith Carradine as a folk singer with clues in his arid songs. At the end of each track the audience clicked their fingers in applause. How silly.

One thing, I have gradually grown to like Gareth Southgate.

Christ!

Do we have to have a thread about ITV every time that televise a live match.

Yes, they are shit. Move on

It's not compulsory, neither is reading and posting on it.

Better still just don't bother to show it at all and save the argument with the wife and so she can watch what she wants.

After watching that crap I wished I'd given in, in the first place.

Ibiza to the Norfolk Broads
In the present economic climate, the BBC are coming under more pressure to make cuts, and justify the license fee, and director general's salary, so are unlikely to out bid ITV or Sky for the rights to live England games.

I know. I let her watch Eastenders as it was only the build up, but after twenty minutes of watching England witlessly trying to break down the, as expected, competent, adequate, well-organised Montenegrans I said "Do you want to watch Holby City? This has 0-0 written all over it."

Holby City was quite good actually. Poor old Linden.
