The most curious thing..
Festive lights switch ons happening now up and down the country, we're in the home straight now for all the festive celebrations, so is your tree up yet?

???

I used to agree with you, but then realised I was WRONG. Real Xmas trees are a massive pain in the arse and look worse than my fake tree

Pfff looks is nothing... if looks was the most important thing, just put the poster of some babe on the wall!

Nah, its the smell. Nothing like smell of the Christmas tree tree (whatever it may be called over there).

Don't be daft. Goes up 1 week before Christmas then down on Boxing Day. Simple.

Is there any point then ? ???

Ours is usually up around mid-December, then back in the loft on 2nd Jan (generally too hung over to do anything on NYD).

1st weekend in December... Like clockwork. I love xmas as much as the next but xmas decs out before halloween is too much. Halloween and Firework night are great celebrations on their own.

He'll be straight up that. We have a 10 year old cat, she still does:facepalm:

The 8 year old cat broke our artificial tree in half a few years ago. She had got better, but the kitten is still manic. The tree will stay packed away this year.

Think I might give it a miss this year. We’ve got two young dogs and last year they played merry havoc with my baubles!!
