How many are going to their first 50,000 plus crowd game in which the Albion are involved?

Must be loads of you as the only other ones were the two FA Cup finals and The Notts County playoff game.

I've been to all of them and I'm still as excited as a little boy on Christmas Eve, can't wait :clap2: :clap2:

I also went to Old Trafford twice in 1993 where there were over 50,000!

First big stadium game for me with the Albion.

However, I think Hereford was a bigger game.

Are you sure about that, wasn't one end closed for those games?

Didn't get to either of the Cup Finals but made it to the Play Off at Wembley, was at the FA Cup Game at Old Trafford, Adams is right in saying that the Stretford end was being rebuilt at the time so I guess the crowd might have been about 40k or so, we did take about 6k of that.

My tickets arrived this afternoon and I am starting to get more than a little bit excited, off to Pompey tonight due to my work, hopefully we can go back there again the season after next...

Old Trafford Oct 1979 - 52,000 had the pleasure of watching Eric Steele and Gary Williams fighting each other in front of the Stretford End. Gary Stevens, in one of first few games, broke his nose that day early that game & carried on throughout - saw him at Southwick Rec next morning when he had a complete shiner.

Me too !!!!

This game is a run of the mill game compared to many games in the past.

Every game after Steve Gritt became manager were bigger. Hartlepool on Fans Utd was HUGE, Doncaster last game at the Goldstone was HUGE and Hereford was HUGE.

It will certainly be the biggest crowd i've been in attendance though.

To clarify, I meant MASSIVE as in attendance not as in IMPORTANCE, nothing will surpass Hereford (except if it happens again :nono:  )
