Also couldn't you at least sell the ticket on the way out as I saw several people standing around desperate to buy a ticket ?.
Read it again US, it was confiscated.

police took my ticket off me..just a complete shambles the whole situation, still i learnt two things from yesterday, stay off the spirits and keep me mouth shut and keep my head down on entering the ground
I'll be honest, I don't want someone pissed as a fart sitting anywhere near me, so I'm not disappointed to hear this guy was turned away.
I hope you kept the travel voucher so you could get home though!
Excuse me. So because you do not want people who have been out with their mates for a beer or 2 before the game, we should not drink. You sound a real barrel of laughs, nobody to go out with?
i may just leave it, i prob not got a leg to stand on
Read it again Uncle Buck. He said as pissed as a fart, not had a few drinks.
He is a real case of a dellusional being allowed to post on here.
As a legal point, is wideguy due a refund on the ticket, anybody know? If you get refused admission, do you just lose your £24? Or if you get barred halfway through a season and get your season ticket rescinded, are you able to claim back money for the unused portion? Just wondered.
No refund in either of the situations you mention - conditions of sale state that entry can be prevented for certain reasons and that in that situation no refunds will be forthcoming.
