I was an unused sub at St James' Park (the Newcastle one) once. If I'd been brought on I would have played in defence along with Peter Beardsley, and would have had to mark Megaman out of So Solid Crew

It's a media tournament. Konami organise one every year.

Last year I met John Terry and told him it was great to meet a future England captain.

If he's there this year I'll tell him it's nice to meet a future World Cup winner.

You bummer.

I followed John Robinson into a men's toilet some decade ago and had a piss near him. No handshake. No wink. I just tried to look at his willy in a straight fashion and allowed him to leave without my praise or mutter.
Do it the back door way, Wozza. Don't scream your love near the woken front.

The 360 version doesn't feel very next gen, sadly.

And, amazingly, some of the features are cut down from the PS2 versions (editing, number of stadiums etc).

Same old problems remain - limited licensing, crap commentary etc.

But... it's PES! On the 360!

And it's good online. Played around 10 games so far - currently 10th in the European rankings.

Enjoy mate, you might meet Adriano tonight because he has been signed up by Konami.

So… I beat a guy from Loaded 6-2.

Won my second group game 6-0.

Lost my third 3-1 but had already qualified.

Second round game was two hours later (after midnight) by which time I had too much to drink,

Lost knockout game 3-0. Oops.

Anyway, I didn’t see John Terry and Cesc Fabregas who were there early doors, as I was busy playing.

But I did get a picture of our match referee…

And her friend…

And Leon Knight playing with his big sister. (He stormed off when he lost, of course)
