Ah - you may be right. I assumed it was just the cost of building it that didn't count, but you could well be right that all operational costs are excluded too. Others here will know better than me!

Yes I'm not 100% sure either, but I think I've heard that it is excluded from FFP, although it may just be the academy costs.

Running the training ground doesn't count against FFP does it?

Fairly sure it doesn't. Encouraging clubs to invest in development instead of chucking silly money at foreign imports etc.
