He was no Seb Carole in right midfield, that's for sure But he did the job McGhee asked him to do when we had a lot of injuries in midfield.

Hinsh made a lot of mistakes last year like Harding. Excellent player, but it amazes me people think he's a finished product. He certainly wouldn't get in ahead of McShane, and I reckon it would be a big call to drop Butters for him, given that our back 4 isn't the tallest and most physical in the world.

I would drop Chippy and put McShane in midfield. We would win far more in the air and McShane would have a greater engine than Chippy. McShane is a better distributer of the ball as well.

Yeah good idea, play one of the best centre backs I can ever remember seeing in the stripes out of position. Sir Alex would love that too Im sure as he is trying to get his player experienced in the art of defending!
