He was odds on a few days ago, a few days before that Kieran McKenna was odds on. Means nothing at the moment and is just a reflection of where the money is being placed. As soon as the bookies get wind someone is actually close to the job they'll suddenly be 1/20 or the book will be closed like it was with Maresca and Chelsea.

@Han Solo stop wasting your money
Hah... not touching that - there's a small chance Potter gets the job, but that betting market is a reflection of media speculation, social media debate and where people are putting their money (which is partially tied to the media aspects I mentioned).

I believe the club should end the speculation soon. One way or another.
I am surprised they haven’t quashed the noise by getting Naylor to repeat the Cooper denial about Potter….unless he IS still an option

It’s not like it went sour with a fully fit squad available second half of the season. There were obvious reasons why we struggled.
Newcastle struggled when Isak was out injured Palace struggled without their best players available I don’t think Glasner won a game before Eze & co returned.
When RDZ was winning I didn’t read a post from you or anyone else saying we should sack this idiot and get Potter back.
Derr..... of course you didn't. Nobody would have said that while all was sweetness and light and we were winning!

As I said we don’t have a dedicated recruitment specialist.
You said "we hadn't replaced Jewel or Winstanley" . We have. And then quipped about the club making internal appointments which i'm guessing you don't approve of.

Whats the point of them going out to deny random manager rumours? Whats the purpose? Stop people from buying "Steve Cooper"-shirts? Make more people feel good about the club so they go to the game on... 3 months?

Not sure why people believe Paul Barber is sitting in his office spreading rumours about random unemployed managers. I sure hope he has better things to do.

I 100% think Naylor has had it denied/tuned down by Coopers representatives (or even Cooper himself)

The Potter rumour carries much much more baggage for Brighton fans so if he’s not in the running what’s the harm in killing it? TB is an Albion fan he must know how anti many fans are, why let it run?

Potter built the team that saw us rise to 9th. He left us with the strongest Albion team ever, and in great form, to allow RDZ to finish off his great work.

For me, RDZ showed his true colours in the 2nd half of last season. He was not the fighter we thought he was. He lacked ideas, and was stubborn with his tactics.

You can say what you like about Potter - but he was always willing to learn and improve... and he was true to that. For me, that's why he is and will always be a better manager than RDZ, and I fully believe he did more for the club overall... and it would be magnificent if he can come back and continue/start a new project with us.
i mean this in the nicest possible way but you’re genuinely starting to sound like you’re part of a cult

Because whatever he does it will be for the benefit of the club? I don’t see TB ruling Potter out on the basis of a few fans on here disliking Potter’s return.
