Doesn't leave a lot of choice does it. Can't vote labour or lib dem. Greens are probably against Falmer so that leaves the cons. The choice is bad enough already.
Having said that I voted no.

We might as well pack our bags and go home then if everyone is against it.

It doesn't matter where we want the staduim we'll always have every party and every green person saying you can't build it there.

For fS. I'd like to get all these people togeather and bang their heads togeather.

What worries me is that, under "New Labour", all political parties seem to have become disengaged from their role as representatives of the people. These days, they increasingly just represent their own party machine.

For the first time in a lifetime of political activity, I find myself unable to argue convincingly against the nihilism of Bob Dobbs.

At least he's witty and not dangerous. There are other outlets for this disaffection who are.

And a postscript, Herr 1889-1945 ...

When I say that "At least Bobb Dobbs isn't dangerous. There are other outlets for disaffection who are", I particularly have in mind people who glorify the extremism of Hitler, who, by a remarkable coincidence, was born in 1889 and died in 1945.
