Thats the PERFECT song to adapt to a chant, great effort. How about:

Knight and Claridge
Knight and Claridge
Its a partnership you can't disparage
THIS I tell ya brother
You can't mark one and not the other

Or something.

To the tune of 'I'm forever blowing bubbles'.

We've got Knight & Claridge
Running little rings round you,
Repka may try,
But he'll just cry,
When we take 3 points off you,

Burberry's not in fashion,
even for scum like you,
We've got Knight & Claridge
Running little rings round you,

How old is Sheringham Dave?

We've been playing our centre back up front all season. It came to 'this' a long time ago.

hang on a minute...dont compare Sherringham with Claridge FFS

I am all for experience to go with the yougsters, but he retired from league football because he couldn't hack it any more...he goes to Weymouth as player manager...couldn't hack it...and now we are asking him to come into the Championship to play up front with Leon?

Leon falls over at the brush of a feather and claridge cos he old.

I am sorry but i remember all the times he slagged us off on the telly to even be remotely happy with this

I'm pretty sure Jonah won't be too happy, cause he laid into him about the Bristol Rovers tackle a couple of seasons ago in the LDV. Said he wouldn't have him anywhere near a football pitch or words to that affect.

Excellent!

Almost as good as a mates last year for Kanchelskis to the tune of 'Cant touch this' by MC Hammer.

That wasn't your mates, I heard that years ago.

How about "Pompey reject"

If we were signing him up then I would agree with you, he is not the answer. However, we are talking about getting in a very experienced player to train with and possibly play with for a couple of games. This can only be a positive step IMHO. I'd rather have claridge up front with knight than say....

...oh hang on, we have NO ONE.

Basically he's doing US a favour.
