Can you help me with what sprt of captain'ish things one does as a club captain as opposed to the team captain.

The Seagulls Club (chairman I think is his title? ) and the Community work. He does a bit of charity work too.

I should imagine his ankle is so full of metalwork it would hurt whoever tackled him more than it hurt him.

Whether he has the ability and flexibility to keep up with the game after an injury like that is a different matter. I hope he does.
