IE Warning: cross-site scripting

I've noticed since yesterday whenever I go to the Big Board page, IE pops up a warning that says:

"Internet explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting"

Only ever happens on The Big Board page, and it has popped up on 3 different pc's so unlikely to be something to do with the pc I'm using. Should I, or even Bozza god forbid, be worried? No idea what it means.

If I click the "more info" info link it shows:

Internet Explorer's Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Filter can help prevent one website from adding script code to another website. XSS Filter watches how websites interact, and when it recognizes a potential attack, it will automatically block script code from running. When this happens, you will see a message in the Information bar letting you know that the webpage was modified to help protect your privacy and security.

If the modified webpage does not work properly, try going to the home page of the website and navigating to the webpage directly. If the page still does not work correctly, contact the website's administrator.

In all honesty pasty, it begs the question of why the hell are you using IE? It is such an ancient slow badly rendering piece of shit. Why not use Firefox or Chrome?

Use a proper browser is the solution.

How right you were LB. I was getting the same thing that Pasty is/was experiencing - so switched to Google Chrome & it's a proppa job. In fact, I can't believe it's taken me this long to bin IE. :dunce:

Weird though. I use IE at work and it has never happened - only at home on 3 different machines; desktop, laptop and daughters netbook

I used IE9 for 20 minutes or so last week to see if there had been any improvement to the browser. The one word answer is NO.

I get this relentlessly on this website, and no other, with my Dell freezing up for a few seconds a time.

What's the solution?

STOP looking at porn sites. They play havoc with your computer.

I only use Firefox but today, I got a message from my firewall informing me that this site is dangerous!

What is Bozza up to?

I think you'll probably find it has something to do with the advertisement banners and not the site itself. They are sometimes viewed as unsafe by your anti virus program or your spy blocker software.
