I don't see how season ticket holder prevent this. Clubs will have a good idea pre-season as to which are going to be high profile games, and will be able to work out the ST price based on that. Or maybe base the ST on charging the low price for every game

I can remember too many times when I've been to away matches at Derby, Stoke, Nottingham when I've paid big money and they've practically given away tickets to home fans. Having got a full house of non regular home fans it would be very bad news for the home team if they lost, and surprise surprise a few odd refereeing decisions normally made sure that they didn't.
