Albion supporters have demonstrated unbelievable determination in figthing to save their club. This determination demonstrates that this club will survive and eventually return to happier times.

The fight is not over, attendances teetering around the 5,500 mark.We must stay strong and beat the Lib Dems. We deserve our stadium and we must show the country that we deserve it. Fill Withdean, sing our hearts out, cheer the lads on.

Come on!!

"I have been in professional football since I was 16 - that's 33 years this summer. I have seen and done it all. In Brighton, I thought that I had found a club that sat outside the norm. People who love their club but are realistic about their club's prospects in dire circumstances. That appealed to me. That is what I call true loyalty. Supporting the club as you have done through the hard times. I am prepared to be here through these hard times and to develop a squad as I have started to do in preparation for the day that we all move to a new stadium at Falmer. I need your support, patience and understanding in the long-term because there is no quick fix. I hope you will continue to give me that opportunity. It was disappointing after 2 good seasons to find that the club has more than it's fair share of unrealistic fickle ***** as fans !" Mark McGhee, 17th April 2006

Yeah, that's all well and good, right...but Withdean's such a dump isn't it, I really can't be arsed. And it's cold. Oh, and those stewards. And Anne de Vecci's right, Falmer's never going to happen is, Dick Knight is such a nob.

However, it looks like they made the right decision in sacking me, as we are now pushing for the play-offs and everyone seems a lot happier. It was time for me to go." I doubt they abused him in the same way as some of the so called fans on here though ;)

It seems, so far, that it was a wise move to sack MM but let's not tar him as a pariah who f***ed up this club??

Exactly. I think it was time for him to go, but he did well for most of the time he was here.
