I have lost my keys

I've never understood that saying because you're hardly going to carry on looking once you've found them so yes they would be in the last place you look

Yeah, that was kind of my point, it's a very unhelpful piece of advice!

Have you checked your car? My girlfriend managed to leave her keys in the ignition the other day, with the car parked on the drive, for about 3 hours.

Yep right of his/her spine from our point of view.
Bit like Inner Space/Fantastic Voyage?

I can see his cooked green guts.
Was he strayly walking down the street with a costcutters bag of milk and biscuits round his neck and a newspaper and loose change in his beak i'd sent him to bring back for me, unable to then squawk out at his sudden goosenapping?

I got home from work at 12.30 today only to find the doors locked , didn't take my keys as I thought Russ would be in , he had gone to college. Sat on a sun lounger in the back garden until 15.40 when the wife came home. We had a plumber coming round at 3 and I looked a bit of a prat when I told him I was locked out. Plumber came back at 16.00 did the job and charged me Polish plumbers rates , well chuffed.
