has the Beaujolais run lost its interest. It was always released at midnight on third Wed/Thursday of November and then there was a race to see who could get it on their bar/table selling it first.

This seems to have gone now and all the wholesalers have it ready to deliver to be served on that Thursday.

Incidentally I was told by a french wine grower that it was the crap Beaujolais that the French didnt want and wouldn't be able to sell and should be served chilled and drunk before the end of the year in which it was made.

Well said, Balls Brother's wine bars were doing the Beaujolais breakfasts back in't City back in the 80s and 90s.
