I said before the match that Albion had to have someone watching and trying to stop these long strikes. I though Harkey might be instructed to do this, but as he is not in the team, I would thought Dicker's role might be to keep close to their advanced midfielders. If they are restricted to firing from long range, it is a sign they they have not got anything more creative to offer.

NB: Sunderland enjoyed the best of the second part of the first half against the Albion before the game was 0-0 at 90 minutes.
