Fair play to Hudds. Certainly doing better than us at the moment.
Really? Looks to me like they are playing catch-up to cover the former seasons loans!

Not getting this at all. Huddersfield's squad was FAR weaker than ours. They've needed to get bodies in to just get near what we have.
I'm absolutely delighted with two high quality players we have signed so far.
Huddersfield have signed:
Mooy (so no addition to what they already had and cost £10m)
Danny Williams (how underwhelmed would we be with him!?)
Tom Ince (meh £10m),
Depoitre- Has scored 1 goal in the last calendar year, before that he was scoring 12 goals in the Belgian league. NSC wouldn't have that and cost £3.5m
Mounie looks a good signing. So I would classify that as them strengthening their squad (which was weaker than ours) and 1 quality signing for £34m outlay
We have started with a stronger squad and have made 2 quality signings for £8m
I don't get the worry at all. Oh actually, I do. It happens every year.
They've also re-signed Palmer on loan - rules out them signing Brown on loan again.
.
But NSC deemed them World Beaters last season ?Exactly. Re-signing the players who finished 12 points behind us (it should have been more).
Haven't Huddersfield showed that it can work like that?
All of the critical drivel on here about their signings as if we're after a grade or two higher is going to come back to bite us I feel. I would have taken Mooy, Ince, Williams and Mounie.
If I'm honest all of the Huddersfield signings would get into our squad....Ince, Mooy, Williams and Mounie would all be good acquisitions. The fact they have done business early and the team have more time to Gel is even more beneficial! TBH I'm jealous of the business Huddersfield have done.
Also those saying Huddersfield have a FAR weaker squad than us, they embarrassed us and turned us over towards the end of last season at there gaff and the team will only be stronger now they have added to the squad! We need to pull our head out of the sand, take notice and make some major signings, or else the long awaited journey to the promised land may well be very short lived!
Absolutely right.Their signing of Ince is the equivalent of us signing Gross. Them signing Mooy is the equivalent of Dale Stephens signing a new contract. Their goal scoring record was poor last season so needed strikers, hence Mounie and Depoitre. We will likely strengthen in this area too but our need was not as great as theirs. Williams is a decent signing, but between Stephens, Kayal, Sidwell, Norwood, Gross it's not exactly a high priority position for us to strengthen in this window.
Wow they are splashing the cash, not sure if this is a sign of intent or at the very least buying players with a sell on value which is I am thinking sensible.
Derby County's former England Under-21 winger Tom Ince is set to sign for Premier League newcomers Huddersfield Town, reports BBC Derby Sport.
The Rams have rejected a bid of about £7m for the 25-year-old.
But last season's Championship play-off winners are understood to be prepared to go closer to Derby's £10m valuation.
Ince joined the Rams for £4.75m in July 2015 after a loan spell, and has played in the top flight with Crystal Palace and Hull City.

Whether they needed to sign more players than us or not, it's the fact they are signing players is the important part.
They are getting business done and getting the players they want.
That's all that matter really.
Not if the players they are signing are vastly overpriced and bought in desperation. and nobody else was prepared to pay the price asked.
For once don't agree with you.
Although I think Mooy was overpriced, definitely would have taken him. Williams on a free? Proper 'destroyer' and decent cover.
Ince? Comfortably better than Murphy and Skalak, plus versatile in terms of no 10 role.
The others not so sure about, but IMO those three would have improved us (at this moment).
