Nope, no real changes in Law 11 for several years now. Only thing to change is how referees are instructed to judge 'interfering with play'.Basically it is now supposed to be actually touching the ball, not just running after it.

You are right because the interpretation of the law was changed years ago so that you cannot be played onside by a deflection from a defender.

Q - Did the ref give an offside decision?
A - No.

Therefore he must have been ONSIDE!

If he was closer to the goaline than the last two defenders then he is offside. It's doesn't change just because it was not spotted by the officials. Did Huth hit Upson on Saturday or, just because the ref didn't spot hit, are the TV pictures all fake!
