For those of you with good knowledge of trains, how much should it cost for an adult to get to Stoke in three weeks with a 16-25 railcard?

I just looked on thetrainline.com and it came up as £51. Surely not that much?

On the Southern Rail website, with a 16-25 railcard, from Brighton, you can do it for £29.70 - if you buy single tickets online each way.

just an idea try southern to milton keynes ( with a groupsave ... if they still do them) then london midland to stoke fares tend to range from a fiver upwards for a single ....
