How much have we missed Harding this season?

we have missed harding, i think. he was always in the squad and although he made mistakes, it was his first full season as a left-back. i also liked him on the left of midfield, personally. an established left-back is what we're essentially missing, but some of harding's qualities would help us out in this situation as well.

Jones was never a left back though was he ?

As for Watson i think the injuries that he has had for McGhee's entire spell here counted against him, and he hasn't got on anywhere else has he.

Yes - he played there extensively, even if he was better known with us as a midfielder. I fail to see how Watto or Jonah would have been worse than the shower of shite we've had this year ... Reid and Mayo, hard as they may try, are always competing to be the least awful in that position to get into the team, and Lynch is far from ready for this level.

As for signing Dodd to play there - I'm sure he could do, but he's very much a right back; no specialist left-back was signed, so as far as I'm concerned, fault very much lies with McGhee.

Cullip i would question, we actually improved after he left, (last season i mean )
i know we went on a bit of a run when danny 1st went but can't belive anyone doesn't think we've missed danny! he's a leader and organiser and not having him or charlie is a masssive blow for us as you can see since charlie has been injured

Sure, and he wouldn't be my first choice; but I think it was a mistake to let all three go without replacing any of them.
